Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan visited the Headquarters of Teknopanel in Mersin together with MTOSB Chairman of the Board Sabri Tekli and Entrepreneurship Committee Members and received information from the General Manager Orhan Kahveci regarding the works carried out.

The General Manager Mr. Kahveci said: ‘Our company which was established in Mersin in 2005, sells and markets sandwich panels and EPS products manufactured in 4 production facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, İzmir and İstanbul, with a total installed area of 123 thousand m2, to the domestic and foreign markets. We sell our products through a dealership system. We reach our products to domestic market through at least 150 authorized service points across Türkiye. We also provide support to our dealers in technical subjects such as detailing their projects and creating solutions. In 2021, we manufactured 8.8m2 sandwich panel and 1.2m3 EPS products. Our total production consists of export (70%) and domestic market demands (30%). We deliver our products and services from our production facilities located at strategic points to 102 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America.

In 2022, we offer our customers the new investment worth EUR 16 million 250 thousand on a total area of 54 thousand square meters, 15.5 thousand square meters of which is closed area, in the free zone of Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. With this investment decision, we expand our export activities in the Balkans and North Europe while increasing our competition power in the global market. We manufacture sandwich panel and EPS products at our first overseas factory as well. We aim to reach a production volume of 350 thousand m3 annually with EPS production line we will put into use this year, and 3.5 million m2 annually with sandwich panel production line that will start manufacturing in 2023.’

Mersin Governor Mr. Pehlivan, examining the production and R&D works of Teknopanel on-site and congratulating the General Manager Mr. Kahveci for all the efforts, said: ‘We support all of our investors that contribute to the national economy and increase employment.’
